Job Summary
We are seeking a time‑served Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be highly skilled and experienced, ideally with a strong background working with a variety of metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and a range of non‑ferrous materials.
Essential Requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and accurate
- Excellent attention to detail with a versatile skillset
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as drilling, grinding, punching, brake press, guillotine operations, etc.
- Good communication skills
- Solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices
Desirable (but not essential)
- CSCS or other relevant skills cards
- Coded welding qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Abrasive wheels training
- Forklift truck licence
- First Aid certification
